The water sealant broke like so.....

Here is the new look!

Cam belt change to a new one and here is the old Timing Belt around 60,000km....
is it over killed?

Here is the water pump, seems normal... but to play safe,
change it as well and save some labor...

Some other OLD parts....

 pressure plate ....

Clutch disk

Why cracks are all over the clutch plate.?? is that normal?

This flywheel is super heavy.....!!!

The new clutch feels 50% lighter then before! it make my feet feels better in traffic jam! detail report will post it up after a real deep test! stay tune!

After remapped Fault Code (17705)

Right after remapped to stage 1+ I've found a fault code saying that "Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)" as i replaced the Stock D.V. to Forge 007P long time ago and replaced the N75J as well, so where the fault code came form?

Gave it a search on the net, and found that there are 2 little thing called N249 which control
the DV (Dump Valve). It is installed between the intake vacuum source and DV itself. When no current is switched to the N249 (default state), the DV will get vacuum or boost from the intake manifold, When shifting gears, you let off throttle, N249 closes and vacuum is generated which can open DV to vent boost (which cannot enter engine, because N249 is closed). which generate the fault code with "pressure drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve"

The following picture is showing the N249 (the GOLD thing...)

Some say, just remove the N249 valve and connect it with a T-pipe, for the electric plug, you need a resistance to connect it up. But you can also pick to change the upgraded parts, as i searched on ETKA and it came up the following diagram.

With the upgraded parts 06A 906 283 F (Solenoid Valve)
Here is the updated one found in ECS Tunning....

Fault Code: 17705 (Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve)
Solenoid Valve: 06A 906 283 F

Unitronic Stage 1+ remapped!

Searching for a really long time about remapping my PUG. REVO, APR and Unitronic. but they are quite the same, but two of my friends remapped with Unitronic with a good comment, so i decided to go for it, plus the price is reasonable for such a power improvement.

I went to Monster Garage and let them do the job. It took me 20 mins to remap the ECU, my PUG is now with 201 HP/220 LB-TQ!

Right after it remapped, the first word came out from my mouth was.. "Holly Shit...."

I think thats enough to describe how i feel? : D

UNITRONIC STAGE 1+

STOCK POWER: 150HP / 155LB-TQ
UNITRONIC STAGE 1+ : 201HP / 220LB-TQ

But one thing you really need to do it before is to change the Forge DV (diverter valve) with yellow spring and N75J Valve.

Also found my PUG on Monster Garage and Unitronic Chipped FB page...

UNITRONIC STAGE 1+ : HKD $6500
Forge DV w/ Yellow Spring : around HKD $1200 (Thanks Kwan)
