每次SMD 都係得 2架 Polo GTI, 今次唔同喇!!
多左架型仔豬師奶出動!
VW Polo 3G Team!! !! (3 GTI) lolz
每次SMD 都很多 VW Fans! 場面熱鬧!
長長的車隊永遠不見頭車!
"Fanling" did a great job again! thanks for taking photos in the SMD!
http://vorsicht.org.hk/forums/showthread.php?p=110990#post110990

K&N Filter washed!
Noticed the fuel consumption is a bit higher then normal (10.6).. so may be is time to clean up the filter? see if will get lower fuel consumption .
Today washed the K&N filter @ 26,600KM last time was 20,000km
Very dirt...
After Wash:
Applied Oil on the filter... so need to use a plastic bag.... lolz
very clean now!

Coolant hose loosen!!!
After dinner with family i drove them home... suddenly the coolant warning light switched on! *BEEEEEEPPPPPPPP* and i was like WTF?!@ am i that lucky AGAIN!? (it happed to my old Golf before and i dunno how to fix it at that time....)
Then I parked my pug to aside and pop the hood..oh!! i see da leakage!! a host which connect to the top of the radiator came off... i have no clue why? may be i push it too hard? or i have a poor installation in da VW factory?! o well i dunno
But ... there is a small clip that holds the host, but it suddenly came off!!! um... well got to find out later soon!
Anyways plug it back in with my strong arms! (lolz) check and refill with distilled water first and drive it back home. on the way i didn't switch on the A/C... but then after a few KMs i saw some smoke coming out from the hood!! and i stop and check again! and I'm pretty sure that was steam... so nothing happened right after it!
Few KMs before home i switch on the A/C and fast driving... without problems sweet!! later need to re-do the coolant change again!
==================================================
Update on 14 Nov 09:
Okay changed the coolant AGAIN (to make sure the G12++ have a good mixture in it), and it works like a charm! but i'm so fucking tired! oh... and i wash the engine bay as well too! PUG is clean and good shape now! SWEET!!

Hankook VENTUS V8 RS Tyres review
Car - 06 Polo GTI
Rim Size - 17"x 8J
Tyre - Hankook VENTUS V8 RS (H424)
Tyre Size - 215/40/ R17
Km's On this Tyre - around 10,000km
Cornering:
I definitely feel more inspired round corners. When you doing a very hard cornering it makes you feels like its a rubber it sticks to the road, good feedback as they approach the limit.
Traction:
The tyres surface is soft, so i guess that's why it sticks to the road, but the bad thing is it wear out fast. Excellent dry grip and only puts a foot wrong in the rain when provoked. If you want me to compare with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 which used on my Golf MK4 VR5, I will pick Hankook VENTUS V8 RS , when i do a fast "hard core cornering" on the DZ101 it will start fling a bit, but for Hankook, it doesn't.
Road noise:
it i definitely feel more silence then what i had before (Continental Compact Sport 2 CCS2)
Will I buy again:
I may buy these tires again because they can make a car more predictable, but i wanna try the Hankook RS-2 or VENTUS V12 EVO.
But then The VENTUS V8 RS is definitely a budget tyres(around HKD$8xx) and haven't been disappointed since. And now i have a new perspective ways on Hankook... Korean tyres!
===========================================
Okay as usual let the pics speak!
Tyres still okay to go for a bit more. This is the rear tyres, forgot to take pics for front tyres
It sticks to sand and little rocks, i took this picture when i do just a little bit hard cornering.
For example Japanese tyres can use around 3 years, but for Korean tyres mostly 2 years, but now Korean tyres can gives you what you need in performance, so change a bit early can save you life and money.
