Finding Polo

CV Join? Dust cover? Leakage?
Found it when having a tire change, greasy dirt are all over the wheel,
no sound, nothing special, drive like normal.
Found that was some greasy stuff while installing suspensions,
clean it and check the dust cover, everything back to normal, no leakage
But after that, all my brushes need to be replace!!! yellow brush became black and oily!
and my body as well, seems like u play with "SHIT"! I was worry about that, but not now. :)

PUG's new shoes!
Quoted a lots of places and read lots of lots of comments about Yokohama AD08 and Dunlop Z1* Compared the price, wet and dry grip, life time, finally i pick AD08.
Z1* is a good tires, but seems like lots of people say Z1* will wear out fast, mostly a year or half then it need to change or replace, But for AD08, it can last a bit longer (compare to AD07), although it's more expensive then Z1* if you do some calculation about the price, AD08 is still a good pick! yes and of course my size 215 40 R17 is a rare size... nothing much to pick.
Also no people say a "NO" to AD08, and they will pick it again for the next tires, so i wonder how good it is! lets test it!!
AD08 x4 is waiting for my PUG!
the.... "fresh sticker" .... um... it smell fresh...?
215 40 R17! rare size!
hard side wall?
Lets compare to the old one below (Hankook H424 V8)
First 20km test, i feel more comfort then my old kimchi tires! still haven't have a chance to test the dry grip.... anyways...I will write more review about the performance after the tires run-in! stay tune!!

Which tires for PUG!?
In this few months, every morning drive i feel my "kimchi" tires are need to be replace soon, since understeer happens in spirited drive or rainy dayz, as i remember i got them 2 years ago, every months with a spirited drive style, and i think its time to replace some better tires
Did some research on tires, here are my decisions:
-Yokohama Neova AD08
-Bridgestone Pontenza RE001
-Dunlop Z1* star spec
Have some review on those, if compare AD08 and Z1*, mostly people will pick AD08.
Tires Compare between those <--Click Review on tiresreview.co.uk
Seems like the are all in the same class, but of course AD08 is the most expensive one, RE001 then Z1*, which one i should pick this time ? ? ?
Really wanna know the wet and dry between them and which one is better....
AD08 better in dry? and not so good in wet?
RE001 better in both?
Z1* ? ? ?

GLOVE BOX ANTI-RATTLE!!!
You got stuff in your small glove box? it making noise when you are driving? and you hate that? what would you do? turn up ya radio? ignore it? or do something you and the noise can live together?! Be peaceful?
Remember what i got last time? LOLZ
Hard stuff and hard stuff never gonna live together well, unless they are ga_, y a..
just like 2 male tigers in one cave... they are gonna to fight and make noise...
so YOU will KILL one of IT !!!
Alright... back to topic! Just get something soft to cover inside of the glove box, problem will be solvd! Better get a black one rather then gray, I just can't find any black... but who cares... you won't open your box forever!
measure it with some big size paper or something else... u name it (I use recycled A3 size papers) place it inside the box and start draw the shape with your fingers and then a pen... it takes time to do it...
I will say, if you have a GF or wife... let her do it... i don't have wife yet, and my GF will ignore me when i ask her for stuff like that... so i got to do it myself.... gosh...
if you ask me how may stars for this process? 9 out of 10 stars! be patience..... be patience..... it really hard to get it in shape, as all curves inside the box!! you will need to edit 10 times or more to get it... "Okay perfect"... as a guy... k? right, not bad eh?
get some materials to make the first form and shape... and test it, if thats alright, then start to cut it!!Okay let the soft thing stick on the hard said ;p
Okay... it took me 2 days for that shit... ya... i know is not even "OKAY PERFECT" ya... gaps (I KNOW!! I CAN SEE IT!!) LOLZ, thats all i can do as a guy... come on... get your gf or wife for help... Really... or get her a iPhone4 or something to make her do it.
Put all your... "hard things" back... to the "Soft side"
and... u will feel everything you did is just worth for it!

A/C Cleaning
Since summer came not too long ago...replaced the A/C filter, and it started to smell like shit....(sometimes) again... so did some research on cleaning the A/C system seems like Liqui Moly will do the job well... so... may be give it a try? not too expensive HKD$88 150ml
Sure will write a review later on :D But why Moly?
cuz i'm using their engine oil... Wakakakaka :D
I'M A YOUTUBE LINK! CLICK ME!
My wiper blade started to " jump jump jump" like a hip-pop party during rainy dayz (yes i replaced the wiper blade not too long ago) Try everything to clean up the windscreen, newspaper, wax, lighter fluid... anything you can think of... OMG but nothing works!! I use soft 99 before and it won't last long.... but i have no choice at this moment ... only Soft 99 works for the screen... o well... got to stick with it (sad)
USB+3 sockets?? um... what will be the next projects? LOLZ
What is that for? XDD
Stay tuned!!

Bilsten B8 shocks + Weitec Springs Review
Promised to write something about the Bilstein B8 shocks + Weitec springs suspension set, Having driven the car now for almost a week. I have subjected the car to most conditions: concrete road, highway, up/downhill, high speed corners, some potholes and bumpy road.
Now that I have the Bilstein B8 shocks to go with the Weitec springs. Once it installed, first thing i noticed is the car had the right look for me, it was dropped front 20mm rear 15mm, Since i always need to carry heavy weight (like my whole family and their stuff), go over a sky high speed bumps in my parking lot and that is what i want and needed. Now the car handles better then before and improved comfy, cornering and grip with above combination.
For going over potholes and bumps, before it would feel very crashy, now it's just a solid "thud" and the bump is absorbed. You can feel before that the tire contact patch bounced a lot with the ground. The wheels came off the ground a lot more. Now they are solid and planted. Left and right transitions, the car exhibits less roll. Some minor bumps that I knew used to make the car crashy, now I can't even feel it. The difference is worlds apart between the stock shock and the Bilstein B8.
For speed bumps and curb entrances, the car rides over them with less bounce. Sometimes, when you go over a curb entrance of a parking lot , you don't want the front of the car to bounce down and up once the wheels hit the lower surface. You want it to just come down, and then back up once and the B8 does its job.
All of these improvements on the B8's are providing more damping force than the stock shocks. The increased damping force is reducing body roll in corners. Take for example hardcore Left and right transitions, the car exhibits less roll. The outside body does not compressed down as much as before, thus giving the inner wheel more grip to accelerate the car in a corner.
All of these can be summed up that the B8 is comfortable for daily driving, and its best ride-handling package I have experienced so far, just buy the B8, no regrets! Oh... I'm not trying to poison you guys, but just... really an improvement on ride comfort and handling.
For the ride height, lots of you guys are waiting for some photos and here you go! :)
Before (Front): it fits 3-4 of my fingers
After (Front): Now you can fit only 2 fingers
Before (Rear): 4 fingers
After (Rear): 3 fingers
got to apologize for some pictures quality because i took it with my phone, and my camera was out of the battery at that moment. I definitely will take some better pics later on, and thanks for spending your time on reading those.
