DIY Your Own Tunnk Light

So may people asked me how do i add a extra trunk light..... so, just wanna share something here.... As I'm tired of pulling out my flashlight out when I want to look for something in my trunk at night. The stock trunk light is absolutely worthless. So what do you do? Put in your own light!!!

"Again! This is my own stupid way to do, I will keep using this until both of the lights are gone, then i will switch it to LEDs"

so dark.... and only have one light at the right side.... and its too dark to find things inside the trunk



Cold Cathode Light Tube x2
Inverter x1
Some extra wire about 2 meters (for extension)
all the stuff I got from Ap Liu Street, total under $100

Some extra wires:

Extended wires:

Connection:
Red for + black/brown for -
and connect them together (remember the + and -)
You don't have to cut off the connector for the trunk light.You can safely run both the tubes and the light if you so desire.


Stick and Hide the tubes on left and right or anywhere you like


Run the wire behind the carpet:
I hide it under the trunk mat cover, since i don't have a spare Tyre



Thats it! you are done! Go and get some cold beers!
You should have light (unless you've left your trunk open for too long. Close it and reopen.)
