New N75J Installed!

Installed a new N75J Today!
Thank you brother Kwan for it!!
the black one is the old one~ and the gold is the new N75!!

Installing!!

14.5PSI! which means.... 1bar!
My PUG can easy up to 1bar now!

Then Soon as I gave it a rev before reversing off my drive, Something felt different. - I read on some posts that just this Valve makes your car feel alot smoother in Acceleration, Gear changes etc which I thought was strange as how could a Valve do this....weird BUT very true, Soon as I rev'd it, It felt better, Sounded different too.
Anyway Took it for a Spin and Wow, I was gobsmacked, Why didn't I do this from the word GO, The 1st and 2nd gear was well noticeably better then 3rd -Oh my gosh, was transformed too.
and it holds the boots longer then before! I can feel much more power right after 1900rpm to 5000rpm!! seems like no turbo lag!!
What a Joke...

Worth to change? ★★★★★(5 stars!)

Shift Linkage Adjustment

Having a hard time shift to the 1st gear sometimes during traffic?

Its time to do the Shift Linkage Adjustment!!

Came across YouTube for some Wörthersee 2011 movie, i found this accidentally!

Just follow the video step by step, then you will get it done, easily!!!.

But you need to take off your intake hose get access to the gearbox.

As you can see the springs has been compressed.

you see that "L" thing on the transmission?
Push the "handle" down and turn the "L" clockwise, to lock it in home position.
Lock the Gear stick in home position.
release all the springs and test drive. you are DONE!
I feel much much more silence when i switching gears in between,
i can feel the different when i get into the first! GREAT! LOVELY AGAIN!

Time: 30 mins job

Done it @46,000 km

Philips H7 5000K Blubs Change




Been using the old light blub for 5 years since i pick up the PUG, its time to change a new one! Got this Philips Diamond Version H7 5000K at Tai Hang... very expensive... damn... not cool! but what can i do if i need it ASAP?
What is in the package...? just 2 blubs!

Changed one side, already you can spotted the different....

One is a bit purple and on is brighter!
The old one is a bit purple ...

After Changed both side! nice nice!!

Brake light switch replacement.

Discovered the brake switch having a "Intermittent failure Disease..."
Went to Hnag On and got a new one, but the design is totally different already!

Parts Number:
6Q0 945 511
HKD$160.

Brown one is the old one, and the black is the new one.
Totally different design.

After the installation:

Just a simply twist and turn, but be sure disconnect the cable before you do anything.
Oh, one more thing, "DO NOT PRESS" the brake paddle when you install the unit.

Okay, Whats wrong with the switch?

After i replaced the new switch unit, i started to discover the old switch which has a function to adjust the length of the nipple (the black clone thing) can turn left or right to make the adjustment.

The switch in LOCK position:

(Which allow you to adjust the nipple length)

AFTER the adjustment:


So.... why would i say that? because the nipple can be adjusted by the unit to touch the metal on the brake paddle, which means from time to time, the length could be adjusted by itself when you press the brake paddle hard! and we won't even notice it.

After i took the switch out for study, the switch was in UNLOCK position, so i think this is the reason our switch got an "Intermittent failure Disease"

If you got an "Intermittent failure Disease" with your switch, try to adjust the length of the nipple, and see if it works. If not, then replace the switch, it won't cost you much.

Noise from ARB Mount

Finally i found where the "gouu gouu" sound came from! Before i keep looking where the sound come form when driving, i through it was came from the driver side front suspensions springs... but after the garage check, it looks like normal. but the sound keep coming on and off, tried to spray some WD-40 on the top mount and springs, sound doesn't goes away!

And this week the sound extended to the left side, so i think is not about the suspensions or springs! its about the Anti- row bar rubber mount!!

So i decided to spray some wd-40 on the mount, and the sound go right the way! damn... should spray it long time ago! that keeps annoy me for a long long long time!!

Will i go for Powerflex? na..... nono! i don't think it is necessary!

Always hit by highway stones... repaint repaint and repaint...
but still! WTF? lets carbon fiber it!!

Haven't try this before... lets see how it goes...

夏天之耗油狀況!

夏天之耗油~
夏天是 Turbo 之summer holiday! Turbo立立... 無乜力去~為有放下假~ 比Turbo sor乎一下!

一缸 ESSO F1 彈槍! 未著燈,去到紅邊, 其實行到 350KM+
照道理來說.. 一缸油用盡, 應該可以行到 400KM, 有開冷氣, 有皮下!


差不多去到紅邊... 但還未著燈!

耗油指數: 9.5 1/100km,
如果塞車+開冷氣的話... 可以去到 10.6 1/100KM還有40KM 可行走!

冬天來的時候再測試一下!

Custom make 之 intercooler 導風喉!

一路都懶無整, 自從換左下3件之後, 一路都無整導風喉去intercooler度!
得閒攪攪佢! 要custom make! 原裝果個唔fit位!

最好用A3 folder 因為夠大, 任我cut!





無裝喉, turbo leg 係夏天多左, 要上到2000rpm 先發力,
但係裝左之後, 回復本身應有水準! 加速爽朗!
